The 18V LXT® Cordless Grass Shear (XMU05Z, tool only) is a compact and cordless solution for grass trimming and cutting. The XMU05Z has dual blade action and a 4-5/16” cutting width. It delivers faster blade speed at 2,500 strokes per minute/SPM. Get up to 2 hours of run time with a fully charged 18V LXT® 5.0Ah Battery (sold separately). Additional features include a rubberized soft grip handle, tool-less blade changing, non-electrolyzed nickel-plated blades to resist staining and rusting, and a compact size. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita’s purpose-built motors, battery technology, and enhanced communications work together to deliver maximum performance and efficiency.
